Running Several Social Accounts? Stop Tab-Switching

Several brands in Buffer means several calendar tabs. CueWeek shows every account on one week, no switching.

When you manage multiple social media accounts, seeing the whole week means opening each brand’s calendar one at a time. You keep track of what is planned in each tab, then compare the dates in your head. A shared weekly view puts the accounts next to each other so you can spot overlaps and empty days before they become a surprise.

What happens at account number three

One account is easy to follow. Add another brand and you have another calendar to check. By the time you are managing several accounts, the question is no longer only “What is going out on this profile?” You also need to know whether the brands are quiet on the same day, whether two posts compete for attention, and where the next idea fits.

Switching between account calendars makes those comparisons manual. You open one view, remember its plan, open the next, and try to hold both in your head. Buffer keeps each account’s publishing view separate; it does not give you one weekly overview across brands.

One week, every account

CueWeek is a social media planner app for Mac that brings posts from connected Buffer accounts into one week or month view. Each post appears with its media, copy, channel and date. Move a post to another day, then look across the week to see what changed.

Buffer remains responsible for publishing. CueWeek is the overview for planning and deciding what comes next; it does not replace Buffer or its account plans. The app is in preparation for its first public release. If tab-switching is making it hard to see the week, send a note to [email protected] to hear about early access.
